This self-calibrating simulator, which replaces the NAI Model 5310 and Model 5330, is suitable for bench or rack-mount use. Other specifications include a resolution of 0.001° and accuracy to within ☐.003°. The 5330A generates output voltages from 1 VLL to 90 VLL and accepts reference voltages of 2 VRMS to 115 VRMS over a broad frequency range of 47 Hz to 10 kHz. Digital angular inputs can be set at 0 to 360° or ☑80°. The gear ratio for the two-speed mode is programmable from 2:1 to 255:1. Each channel can be independently programmed for specific dynamic-mode operations, including rotation (continuous or start-stop), square, sine, and ramp. The instrument's two fully independent outputs can be used to simultaneously simulate two separate synchro/resolver signals or combined to operate as two-speed outputs. In addition, the 5330A provides IEEE 488, Ethernet, USB, and parallel-port interfaces to extend remote-operation capabilities. Outfitted with two channels, the Model 5330A from North Atlantic Industries (NAI) is a programmable synchro/resolver simulator that leverages an intelligent digital design that eliminates pushbuttons and allows all programming to be done through an integrated touch screen, front-panel USB mouse interface, or multipurpose increment/setup knob.
